We understand plans can change. This policy explains when and how you can cancel an order placed at Australian Goods in Bangladesh, plus how refunds work for prepaid and Cash on Delivery (COD) orders.


1) When You Can Cancel

  • Before Shipment: You may cancel any order before it is shipped. Request as soon as possible for best chance of interception.
  • Time-Sensitive Window: Requests made within the first 60 minutes of ordering have the highest chance of being stopped before packing/dispatch.
  • After Shipment: Once shipped, cancellation isn’t possible. Please accept delivery and follow our Returns & Refund Policy.

2) How to Cancel an Order

  1. Contact Customer Care via phone/WhatsApp/email (details below).
  2. Provide your order number and a short reason for cancellation.
  3. We’ll verify the status and confirm if the order is eligible for cancellation.
  4. If eligible, we’ll cancel immediately and trigger any applicable refund.

Tip: Keep your phone reachable; we may need to confirm details quickly to intercept dispatch.


3) Refunds for Cancelled Orders

  • Prepaid (bKash, Nagad, Card): Full refund to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after confirmation.
  • COD: No charges if cancelled before shipment (no refund needed since no payment was collected).
  • After Shipment: Cancellations aren’t possible. Use the Return Process after delivery; note that original shipping fees may be non-refundable once shipped unless it’s our error.

4) Order Modifications (Address, Item, Quantity)

  • Address/Phone Update: Possible before shipment; contact us immediately.
  • Item/Quantity Change: Usually we cancel the original order and ask you to place a new one.
  • Partial Cancellation: For multi-item orders, we can cancel unshipped items if they can be separated.

5) Exceptions & Special Cases

  • Pre-Orders & Limited Stock: Cancellation allowed before shipment; availability later can’t be guaranteed.
  • Bundles/Promos: Cancelling a bundle may require cancelling the full bundle if pricing depends on all items together.
  • Compliance: We may decline requests that indicate suspicious/abusive patterns (e.g., repeated COD refusals).

6) Cancellations Initiated by Australian Goods

Rare, but may occur due to:

  • Out of stock or quality check failure.
  • Payment failure or suspected fraudulent activity.
  • Incorrect/incomplete address or unreachable contact details.

If we cancel, you’ll be notified and any prepaid amount will be fully refunded to your original method.


7) Refused or Failed Delivery

  • COD Refusal: If you refuse delivery, the parcel returns to us. Repeated refusals may limit future COD eligibility.
  • Prepaid Orders: If delivery fails due to an incorrect address or unreachable phone, we’ll coordinate a reattempt. If returned to sender and you no longer want the item, we’ll refund per our Returns & Refund Policy.
