Australian Goods in Bangladesh is committed to digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are working toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance and continuously improving the user experience for everyone.

1) Scope
This statement applies to australiangoods.com.bd and customer-facing touchpoints, including Order Tracking, Customer Care, and Experience Center info pages.
2) Standards & Guidance
- Target standard: Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
- Supporting specs: HTML5, WAI-ARIA 1.2, semantic headings and landmarks.
- Languages: English and Bangla (বাংলা) content where available.
3) Measures We Take
- Keyboard accessibility: logical tab order, visible focus, and skip-to-content links.
- Color & contrast: aim for body text contrast of ≥ 4.5:1; no information conveyed by color alone.
- Images & media: informative images have

text; decorative images are hidden from assistive tech; captions/transcripts for key media. - Headings & landmarks: one

per page; semantic sections and ARIA landmarks for navigation. - Forms: programmatic labels, descriptive buttons, and error messages linked to fields.
- Responsive design: content reflows without loss of information on small screens or at high zoom.
- Motion & flashing: avoid content that flashes more than 3 times/second.
4) Compatibility & Assistive Tech
We aim to support current versions of major browsers on desktop and mobile (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and commonly used assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers on Windows, Android, and iOS).
5) Known Limitations
We monitor user feedback and address issues as prioritized fixes. Current known limitations may include:
- Third-party widgets (e.g., courier tracking portals) that we do not control may have accessibility gaps.
- Occasional missing alt text on newly uploaded images — reported items are fixed as a priority.
- Legacy content may not fully meet heading or contrast guidelines — updates are rolling out in phases.
